Negotium Law Journal applies a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of all published articles. Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a structured evaluation process in accordance with established scholarly and ethical standards. 1. Initial Screening All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team to assess:
Manuscripts that do not meet these preliminary requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors without being sent for peer review. 2. Peer Review Process Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity and impartiality. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter of the article. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, methodological soundness, analytical depth, relevance, and contribution to legal scholarship. 3. Editorial Decision Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
The editorial decision is final and communicated to the authors through the journal management system. 4. Revision and Resubmission Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary. 5. Final Editing and Publication Manuscripts accepted for publication undergo copyediting and layout editing prior to publication in the scheduled issue of the journal. |
